Every Monday, I send each of them a text message filled with encouragement for the week ahead. Because I am often aware of the activities and challenges they are facing, I make it a point to let them know that, even from a distance, I am cheering them on and supporting them.
I have five grandchildren, and each morning I dedicate time to pray for one grandchild each day of the workweek. Although miles may separate us, I strive to remain actively involved in their lives through prayer, encouragement, and intentional communication.”
